Richard Adame is the Founder and CEO of Megalodon Regulatory Advisory Firm where he advises individuals and organizations facing complex regulatory examinations, financial investigations, and high-stakes compliance matters. His work focuses on helping clients navigate situations where government scrutiny, regulatory pressure, and reputational risk intersect.

Richard previously served as an IRS Agent, where he gained firsthand insight into the structure, processes, and investigative mindset of federal regulatory enforcement. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he brings technical financial expertise to matters involving tax examinations, financial records, and compliance strategy. This combination allows him to approach regulatory matters not only from a technical standpoint, but also from the perspective of how regulators analyze, question, and pursue cases.

Earlier in his career, Richard served as a Corrections Officer in a high-security adult male prison, where he developed an ability to quickly read human behavior, recognize deception, and maintain control in high-pressure environments. Those psychological insights continue to shape his approach to negotiations, investigations, and complex financial disputes.

He also spent years working in private security, including supervisory roles within corporate security operations, where he developed advanced risk management skills and operational leadership experience.

Richard is a licensed Private Investigator (PI), a U.S. Army veteran, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The Operator serves as the first point of contact for the Megalodon firms and is the steward of all incoming communications. With a calm, reassuring presence, The Operator manages client intake, schedules consultations, and ensures that every matter is directed with precision and discretion.
